MF signals: Unacknowledged pulse, multi-frequency signals that are used for forward signaling only. In response to a proceed-to-send signal on the line-signaling system, the MF register transmits the address information en bloc, preceded by the key pulse (KP) signal and terminated by the stop pulse (ST) signal.
