What is Tone EasySpeech?

EasySpeech is a development tool that helps you speech-enable Windows applications. With EasySpeech, you can add speech recognition, text-to-speech a new or existing application.

This component provides an ActiveX interface for any Microsoft Windows Speech API (SAPI). It supports SAPI versions 4.x and 5.x and provides a similar and seamless interface for both versions. Any application you develop with EasySpeech will run with compatible SAPI 5 and SAPI 4 speech recognition and text-to-speech engines.

Written in C++ using ATL Active Template Library, EasySpeech is lightweight with no dependencies and can be used on Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP/2003 or higher. Also it works with most Windows software development environments, such as C#, VB.NET, Visual Basic, Visual foxpro, Delphi, C++ Builder, Access ,Visual C++ and others that support ActiveX controls.

EasySpeech includes two components:

EasySpeak Control enables an application to perform text synthesis operations.

• Speak the text asynchronously
• Save synthesized speech as WAV
• Seamless interface to SAPI4 and SAPI5 synthesizers
• Enumerate TTS engine info.
• Pause, Resume, Stop the speech.
• Output to sound card or other telephony devices (waveform input)

EasyListen Control provides speech recognition support for your applications.

• Provides two modes of speech recognition: Voice-Dictation and Voice-Command.
• Starts and Stops grammars
• dynamic loads or updates grammars
• Recognite from sound card or other telephony devices (waveform input)
